In February of this year, the starting signal was given for a unique injection mold project, which will be presented at this year’s Fakuma at the Gollmer Formen GmbH stand (Hall A2, Stand 2213).<\/p>

Thanks to Gollmer Formen’s large network of partners, it was possible to quickly find the right partners and specialists for the individual subsections:<\/p><\/div><\/div>

  • DMTcreaktiv<\/b> was able to engage Volker Gruber for the component design and construction. The futuristic design of the plastic cup comes from his hands.<\/li>
  • As a simulation specialist, Simcon<\/b> (Cadmould) already carried out appropriate injection molding simulations at the beginning and during the design phase in order to be able to identify and exclude possible sources of error in the initial phase.<\/li>
  • Reichle Technologiezentrum<\/b>, as an integrated service provider for tool and mold making and Europe’s leading company for laser texturing, took on the development and implementation of a unique haptic design surface structure for the design cup with its Advanced Design Center.<\/li>
  • Wiedemann GmbH<\/b> is supporting the project in terms of tool technology with a highly complex collapsible core in order to be able to demold the design-related undercuts.<\/li>
  • Meusburger,<\/b> the market leader in the field of high-precision standard parts, provided the mold construction, standard parts and the necessary hot runner technology.<\/li>
  • Kistler,<\/b> the world market leader in dynamic measurement technology for recording pressure, force, torque and acceleration, provided the sensors for process monitoring.<\/li>
  • Haitian,<\/b> one of the world’s leading manufacturers of injection molding machines and cooperation partner of Gollmer Formen GmbH, is supporting the project as exclusive partner with an all-electric Zhafir-Zeres injection molding machine.<\/li>
  • HPS International<\/b> – represented in 28 countries worldwide – specializes in the sale and supply of hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power units and couplings and is involved in the project with connection technology and hoses.<\/li>
  • Matsui Europe,<\/b> one of the leading manufacturers of dryers, mills and granulators, temperature control units and conveying and mixing systems for the plastics processing industry, rounds off the portfolio.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>
